38 St Helens have confirmed George Delaney will miss the remainder of the 2026 season.
The prop suffered a shoulder injury against Wigan Warriors on Friday night and has since undergone an operation following assessments this week.
A Saints statement read: "St Helens will give George our full support and everyone at the club is looking forward to seeing him back in action."

Delaney, 22, also confirmed the news on his Instagram on Wednesday, posting a post-operation picture with his arm in a sling.
"Surgery done gutted my season has come to an end early," he wrote in the caption.
"Tough few months ahead getting back fit ready for the challenge and looking forward to next year."
The forward was one of three players taken off during the 38-16 loss to Wigan, with Jed Cartwright picking up a quad issue and Matty Evans failing his HIA.

Delaney has been a key player for Saints this season, playing 20 times and scoring two tries while stepping in for injured senior players.
He is just two matches away from hitting 100 appearances for Saints, but will have to place reaching that milestone on hold.
Saints sit seventh in the table, level on points with Hull KR and are looking to avoid missing out on the play-offs for the first time in Super League history.

Last week, head coach Paul Rowley stepped down from his role after navigating the club's injury crisis.
His assistant Eamon O'Carroll has stepped in as interim coach and his side face York Knights at the LNER Stadium on Saturday evening.
